I'm in my 27th Year - and so you might as well read about it.

All Alone...

So I got stood up tonight... perhaps it was karma, or perhaps it was because I was a couple minutes late - or perhaps it's because her favourite people in the world met their end in fiery car crash - regardless, I was stood up... and the OLD Ryan would've focused on that and written a super bitter emo blog about it, but the new Ryan will instead talk about something else.

Such as the fact that we've started rehearsals for Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead and they are going super well. Basically the show is an update of the Peanuts character, and I'm playing CB. The cast is an incredible blend of people I have worked with before and people who I haven't. One of my favourite people Christine is playing my sister, Matt who was in Autobahn which I directed is playing Van (Linus), and Alex - another great friend is playing Beethoven (Schroeder.) The cast is rounded out by four other amazingly talented actors which I am excited to be sharing the stage with.

It's so strange to be on this side of things though. Christine and her friends Jenny & Laura who are stage managing and directing and producing and acting (each of them is doing two of those things) have asked for some help - and I, of course, am happy to give it - and advice when needed, but still it's so weird not being a director or producer and just needing to worry about my lines - it's a cool feeling and one I haven't had for a while - I am definitely enjoying it...

Other than that I might be breaking one of my own rules - I can't write too much about it yet - but I will keep you all posted.

Please oh please say you're going to commit to the roll and shave off all your hair save bangs and a tuft at the back.
