So, I am 27 - and I figured that it might be fun to blog... a year in the life - or something like that. A few facts, I live in Vancouver, I have two brothers, I have a roommate and I am single. Being single is a big thing for me --- a big thing in that I hate it. I internet date and I may blog about that. I have a great job and adore most of the people I work with. Some can get on my nerves. I may write about that. More often than not it'll be a lot of mundane less-than-interesting facts about my life -- but if you've read this far chances are your life is pretty mundane and less than interesting too. 

So what did I do my first full day of being 27? I slept - for most of it. I had a party last night that some really good friends showed up to - and I danced. A lot. To music that I liked. I also drank. A lot. I like to drink - so you should know that. I danced with one girl a lot who is in love with another girl who doesn't pay her much attention. I kissed this girl at the end of the night. I don't know why. I think I'm better than being second choice to someone. And yet I did it anyways. Alcohol makes you do funny things.

But I do have great friends - so many of whom came out last night. Oh yes, and there was cotton candy.

As for tonight, well tonight I want to do something - I have no idea what - but my room is starting to feel claustrophobic - so I think it's time to get out.
